Borg Cube

The Borg Cube is the favorite ship of the Borg Collective. It has many advanced technologies that are exhibited in all Borg vessels. They have amazing regenerative abilities, powerful weapons, and the most powerful ability, adaptive shielding. If a weapon is fired at the ship repeatedly, the ships weapons adjust to defend against that weapon, making it useless against them.

Borg cubes typically have a crew compliment of 100,000, but sometimes as high as 130,000 or as low as 5,000. As such, they are massive ships, around 28 cubic km in size. They also have advanced propulsion systems. They can both go to standard warp and transwarp. This is even faster than normal warp, and is achieved using many different devices to compensate for the gravometric shears and other dangers of transwarp travel. The atmosphere is different than that of a typical M-class planet in star trek; The humidity is 92% and the temperature is 39.1 degrees Celsius. The hull is made of Tritanium, which is an extremely hard metal alloy. Borg cubes are very hard to destroy in ordinary circumstances, but in First Contact, Enterprise captain Jean-Luc Picard co-ordinates multiple ships to fire at the same area, which results in the destruction of the cube despite it not being an important system.
